Weekly Life Applications

It is amazing how the Lord speaks to us through His Word. Here are a few weekly life applications from the book of Judges this week:

• Judges 6:12 Even when we don’t feel like we are a mighty warrior, the Lord knows what we are capable of doing.
• Judges 6:14 When the Lord calls us to action, He will cover any of the inadequacies we have in the flesh. He will use what we have when we are obedient.
• Judges 6:34
  • We need to pray for the same “enveloping” of the Holy Spirit.
  • Being covered by the Holy Spirit gives you the ultimate confidence.
  • When you have Holy Spirit confidence, people will tend to follow you.

If you are having trouble determining which translation of the Bible is best for you, always look for accuracy first. I want the ones I will be giving to my grandchildren to be easy for them to read also. Accuracy has to be first though. I found a wonderful site to help with choosing.
