Life Applications From the Book of Job

Job has some great lessons. You can also find lessons on what not to do. Do not follow the examples of Job’s friends!

  • Job 12:12 Because we learn as we go through situations and experiences in life, it makes sense that the elderly would have more wisdom. Listen to Godly elders.
  • Job 13:5 There is a lot of wisdom in silence!
  • Job 16:21 We are blessed because we have Christ Who arbitrates for us. He is the Mediator between God and man.
  • Job 20:2-3 All three of Job’s friends told him (with confidence) why he was going through everything. We must be careful speaking for the Lord, because His ways and thoughts are much higher than ours.

If you have just joined me recently, these are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.
