Weekly Life Applications

Weekly Life Applications

Since I finished Caddie’s Bible and haven’t found Evelyn’s yet, I tried reading some verses each day from different books of the Bible.  I can say that going that route does not work for me.  I think my brain needs it all to be connected.  With that being said, I am staying in Caddie’s Bible and reading Matthew again. It is amazing that there are still new lessons each day.  It is also so much better for my personal quiet time! Let’s go ahead and take a look at some weekly life applications from Matthew

.

Weekly Life Applications:

  • John 1:17 – He has an unlimited supply of grace and pours it out lavishly on us daily.  We don’t even know how much grace He pours over us each day.  The amount must be mind-blowing!
  • Prov. 3:3-10 These verses are filled with Cause & Effect:
    • V. 3-4
      • Cause – Stay loyal and faithful to Him.
      • Effect – You will experience favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.
    • V. 5-6
      • Cause – Don’t rely on your own understanding but His.
      • Effect – He will guide you on the right path.
    • V. 7-8
      • Cause – Stay humble, fear the Lord, and turn from evil.
      • Effect – You will be strengthened.
    • V. 9-10
      • Cause – Honor the Lord with your tithes.
      • Effect – Your provision will be in abundance.

  • Prov. 4:18-19 It is hard for me to walk from the bedroom door to the bed when the lights are off at night.  This is how it must feel for those walking without Christ’s Light.  There is fear in the dark because you can’t see where you are going.  If there are any obstacles in the way, it is easy to stumble.

If you have just joined me recently, these are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.

I hope you enjoyed these weekly life applications. Please share any thoughts or insights the Lord has put on your heart this week.

Have a Grace & Joy-filled day!
