Life Applications from Matthew

Weekly Life Applications from Matthew

Here are a few life applications from Matthew for the week:

  • Matt 11:18-19 – No matter what you do, someone is not going to be happy. Just do what the Lord tells you to do, and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.
  • Matt. 12:9-14 – I hope we are never so arrogant that we decide on our own what is sinful and what isn’t. We have to be careful in this area. We actually fall into this when we judge others for their sin and justify our own.
  • Matt. 12:34 – Pay attention to your words; they show you what is in your heart. If we reflect on our words, we will see if we need a heart change.

If you have just joined me recently, these are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.

Do any of you use different types of journals to go along with your Bible reading? I usually use a blank journal, but recently, a dear family member shared this journal with me. See “Written on My Heart Bible Study Notes.”

.

I hope you enjoyed these life applications. Please share any thoughts or insights the Lord has put on your heart this week.

Have a Grace & Joy-filled day!

Susan
