Weekly Life Applications from the Bible
Here are a few weekly life applications from the Bible I received from my quiet time reading in Matthew last week:
- Matt 13:46 – He was excited to “give up” his things/belongings, because he knew what he was getting in return was far better than anything he had.
- Matt. 13:13-16 – As an introvert, I love my alone time. I would have taken the opportunity to send them away to eat so I could be alone. Jesus took the opportunity to minister!
- Matt. 14:33 – The more time the disciples spent with Jesus, the more they learned about Him and the better they knew Him. The same goes for us.
- Matt. 16:26 – Why do we concern ourselves with the disposable things of this world? This makes me think of the lyrics of one of Toby Mac’s songs “Lose My Soul.”
If you haven’t heard this song, you can hear it here – “Lose My Soul” by Toby Mac.
If you have just joined me recently, these weekly life applications from the Bible are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.
I hope you have enjoyed these life applications. Please share any thoughts or insights the Lord has put on your heart this week. It is so encouraging to hear how the Lord speaks to people!
