Weekly Life Applications from the Bible

.

Here are a few weekly life applications from the Bible I received from my quiet time reading in Matthew last week:

  • Matt 24:45 – He gave them details about what was going to happen so they would know what to expect. This was also meant to keep them from being deceived by false prophets. He has also given us details about what to expect. We need to study His Word, be alert, and remember His teachings so that we will not be deceived.
  • Matt. 25:13 – If we knew exactly when He was coming, we would probably have more of an urgency about us and act a little differently. We need to act as if he is coming today!
  • Matt. 25:25 – Fear caused the servant to do nothing, and he lost everything. Don’t let fear keep you from prospering.

If you have just joined me recently, these weekly life applications from the Bible are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.

  1. I always take notes from this series Susan! I definitely need to go back and make sure I’ve highlight Matt 25:25 on fear. Anyalysis paralysis is so tough sometimes. Thanks again for all you do to lift us up and keep our eyes on Him, CoCo
