Life Applications from the Bible
Life Applications from the Bible
Here are a few life applications from the Bible from last week:
- Luke 2:27-32
- It is important that we are led by the Spirit. We must be in tune with Him, listen to Him, and follow where He leads.
- Think of what Simeon would have missed if he didn’t let the Spirit lead. He had been waiting for this encounter for a long time. He would have missed it completely if he decided he didn’t want to go to the temple that day.
- What blessings do we miss out on when we don’t follow the leading of the Holy Spirit?
- Luke 5:5 – Many times the Lord will lead us to do things that may not make earthly sense. In those situations, we must have the, “But if You say so” attitude. That is trust!
- Luke 5:30-31 – How can you ever reach lost people if you are never around lost people?

If you have joined me recently, these weekly life applications from the Bible are examples of some of the comments I write in the Bibles I am giving to my grandchildren when they graduate. Click here to see the post where I explain this eternal gift idea.
If you are not familiar with the You Version Bible App, take a look. You can read the Bible, devotionals, or get the verse of the day on your phone or computer. Click the link here to go to the website.

Love the scriptures you chose this week, Susan! They definitely remind me that trusting things we can’t see or understand yet is not always easy but His ways are always better than ours and His dreams for us are bigger than we could ever imagine. Hugs, CoCo

I have 5 Bible apps but not the one you mention here. I was happy to find the Bible Gateway app 🙂 Thanks so much for linking up at the #UnlimitedLinkParty 101. Shared.
I will have to check on that one. Thanks for sharing!
