Life Applications from the Bible – Vol. 27

Life Applications from the Bible – Vol. 27

These are some of the life applications from the Bible I found in Luke this week:

  • Luke 16:11
    • If the Lord gives us something He wants us to use on Earth for His purposes, who are we to use them for ourselves? It isn’t ours to decide; we are only the managers.
    • If I were going to hire an accountant to manage my money, I would look at their track record. If they couldn’t manage their own money, I would not put them charge of mine.
  • Luke 18:34 – We may not understand all that is going on in our lives. We may not need to be able to see it yet. It may be too much at the time, so we have to exercise our faith and trust that He knows what is best.
  • Luke 19:8 – He told them to engage in business until he returned. He tells us to do the same thing. How well are we managing His business while we wait for His return?
  • Luke 19:12-13 – No one likes trials or tribulations because they are painful! Those painful times bring opportunities to be a witness for the Lord. It is hard to see the positive in the pain, but one day we may see how our pain impacted someone eternally.
