How to Make Delicious Chicken and Waffle Tacos
I don’t know whatever possessed me to try chicken and waffles, but I am so glad I did! Since then, I have come up with my own versions, including these delicious chicken and waffle tacos.

Here are a few varieties and ways to make chicken and waffle tacos.
My Experience with Chicken and Waffles
There were so times I heard people talk about chicken and waffles, and I was not tempted to try them in the least. It wasn’t that they sounded disgusting or anything, they just weren’t appealing to me.
A few months ago, we were looking for a place to eat in a small town and came across the neatest Farm to Table restaurant. I still don’t know what came over me to order chicken and waffles, but I did. Let me tell you, it was one of my favorite meals!
A New Twist
Recently I saw an ad for a breakfast restaurant. They were serving waffle tacos with eggs and bacon. Immediately, I asked myself, “Why not chicken and waffle tacos?” So, instead of regular taco shells, I gave the waffles a shot.

Just like me, Jay had no desire to try chicken and waffles. However, he became a fan after the first bite.

- Homemade fried chicken and waffles
- Store bought chicken and waffles
- Chicken and waffles takeout from restaurants (This works great!)
- A combination of any of the above
Ingredients

As you can tell in the picture, I used take out waffles (still in the takeout container) when I made the chicken and waffle tacos the first time.
For the purposes of this post, I am using store bought (frozen chicken and waffles) to transform waffles into tacos.
