Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball Recipe

A Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball coated with chopped nuts sits on a small scalloped dish, which is placed on a larger wavy-edged plate atop a textured gray table runner.

Although this is a chocolate chip dessert, it is not too sweet. The cream cheese and butter in this no bake dessert tone down the sweetness, and make it so creamy!

Ingredients

A variety of baking ingredients for a delicious cream cheese dessert, including vanilla, powdered sugar, pecans, and butterscotch chips, are arranged on a kitchen counter with a handwritten recipe, in front of a wooden cabinet and mixer.

Ingredients

Instructions

As I mentioned, this recipe is so easy. It does require time to chill in the refrigerator though, so plan accordingly.

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese and butter on medium speed until smooth. (Use a stand mixer or with an electric mixer, use a medium bowl.)
  2. Add in powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Mix well.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
  4. Cover with a layer of plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours.
  5. Shape into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 1 more hour.
  6. Roll in chopped pecans before serving.
