Easy Monthly Meal Ideas and Menu for October

Fall is my favorite season, and I love fall meals just as much! See the easy monthly meal ideas and menu for October below.

Most of these meal ideas can be prepped or completely made in 30 minutes or less. Enjoy!

A collage from Apron Strings shows an "Easy Monthly Menu for October" featuring spaghetti with shrimp, roasted chicken, a stew over rice, vibrant vegetables with yellow rice, and a simmering pot of soup on the stove.

You can use the Table of Contents to jump directly to the menu if you want.

What is a Monthly Meal Plan

This monthly meal plan is filled with ideas for quick and easy weeknight meals. Since the planning can be the most challenging part, use this as a guide for ideas.

These are weeknight meals only. I try my best to plan meals where you can “double dip” some of the work. You will notice a few notes about making extra for another meal later in the week. Why do the work twice?

Get Weekly Reminders

I send weekly menu reminders each Monday morning in my newsletter. I would love for you to join me each week for faith, family, and food ideas.

Two stuffed bell pepper halves topped with melted cheese and salsa are served on a white plate, placed on a dark wooden table next to a fringed beige table runner—perfect for a cozy meal inspired by Apron Strings.

I am not even sure what to call this besides delicious! It is like tacos and stuffed bell peppers got married! I will send the recipe out soon.

  3. WOW, do you always prepare a monthly menu? Amazing, you’re incredible. As its only two of us in the house now, we tend to check what we have in the fridge/freezer and go from there.

    1. Well, there’s only two of us now also, so I don’t always stick to it. 😂 because we don’t eat as much as when we had the family at home, I try to morph a few more meals, but many times it is just like you say, grab whatever’s in the refrigerator.
