Apron Strings & Blessings Weekly Newsletter Vol. 29

Thanks for joining me for this week’s, “Apron Strings & Blessings.” Let’s take a look at all things faith, family, and home!

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great Valentine’s weekend! We got to spend part of the weekend celebrating our oldest granddaughter’s birthday – Sweet 16! It is so hard to believe that she is 16!!! Happy Birthday Chloe!

A woman stands smiling behind a birthday cake with candles at a restaurant table, surrounded by people. Plates, drinks, and an Apron Strings mocktails menu are visible on the table in a warm, lively dining setting.

Next week is our youngest granddaughter’s birthday – 8! If you were on that journey with us back then, can you believe sweet Evie is almost 8? What a blessing she is.

Birthdays always make me realize how fast time flies. As I quoted in a much earlier post, “Like Sands through the Hourglass…”

A wooden desk with a small drawer holds a green sand hourglass in a wooden frame—sands through the hourglass—beside two reflective glass bottles, all set against a rustic white wooden wall.

What is it for you that makes you see time flying by?

We need to make a point to enjoy each day. May we do that this week.

February’s Scripture

Floral background with pink and white flowers. Centered text reads: "We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19 (CSB), one of the inspiring Bible Verses about Love.

YouTube Scriptures

Who remembers the song, “Grace Like Rain” by Todd Agnew? He led music at the youth camp we attended one summer, and we really came to love his music. This song came to mind this weekend.

A concrete birdbath stands in a yard with dried grass, partially hidden by tree branches and a sturdy trunk in the foreground. Apron Strings of reddish-brown mulch surround its base, lending warmth to the scene.

The Top Links People Ask For

I feel like I share these links all of the time. However, when people have asked me for them, I have had a hard time finding them in a post or newsletter.

A collage features a floral Eiffel Tower mug on a warmer, a woman in an olive green loungewear set holding coffee, and a beige devotional book with a rose gold notebook on the table. Text: "Most Asked for Links." Cozy moments tied together like apron strings.

So many people ask me about the Bibles I am making for my grandchildren for their graduation, so I thought I would pull together a little webinar to show how to do them. This would be a free online event, either by Zoom or social media.

An open Bible with handwritten notes on life applications in the margins sits on a wooden table, decorated with greenery, gold candlesticks, and a pink ornament labeled “Joy.”.

I would love to see how many people are interested in joining me for this. If you would be interested, please let me know either by commenting below or emailing me at susan@homewithgraceandjoy.com.

I hope you will grab a Bible and join me.
