Happy Monday!

I just wanted to check in this morning and wish you a wonderful week!

Let’s make it a good one!

Faith

Bible Trivia Question

Question: What was the first prophecy?

I had never thought about this until recently. I saw a reel on social media, and it made me think!🤔

Find the answer at the end of the post.

Saturday Morning Devotional

Saturday’s Post – Lessons from the Book of Ruth: Life Applications from All Four Chapters

Women harvest wheat in a golden field at sunrise; one gathers wheat bundles while others work in the background. An overlay text promotes a Devotional Bible study on the Book of Ruth, presented with a beautiful template to inspire reflection and learning.

September’s Scripture

I’m ready for the autumn rains! 🙂

An inspirational quote from Deuteronomy 11:14 on a minimalistic background with neutral-toned botanical accents. Perfect for fall ideas, the text reads: “I will provide rain for your land in the proper time, the autumn and spring rains, and you will harvest your grain, new wine, and fresh oil.”

YouTube Scriptures

Don’t you love a beautiful sunset?

Clouds are illuminated with orange and red hues during a sunset, set against a pale sky. Like apron strings tying day to night, the silhouette of rooftops can be seen at the bottom of the image.

Home & Family

Jay’s New Creation

I think I am going to make this a new part of the newsletter. He always has something going.

You are going to have to trust me on this one! The combination does not sound like it goes together at all, but we liked it a lot and even tested it out on my family, including my VERY picky eater dad!😂

A hand, guided by apron strings, sprinkles shredded cheese over a glass baking dish filled with enchiladas topped with sauce, on a kitchen countertop.

At first glance, you think you are just looking at enchiladas, which they are. However, instead of having regular ol’ hot dogs or enchiladas, he combined the two.

Hands assembling a taco with a corn tortilla, two pieces of hot dog, diced onions, and cheddar cheese chunks on a gray plate—a simple creation tied together by apron strings and comfort food memories.

We cooked the hot dogs (Hebrew National) in the air fryer and then rolled them up in tortillas with cheddar cheese and onions. For the sauce, he combined a can of chili (no beans) with a can of enchilada sauce.

I have to say that they were pretty delicious!

  • We got our Christmas lights scheduled with our friend who is going to put them up! This time he is shooting for the first part of October!🎉 We won’t turn them on that early, but at least they will be ready.
  • Get your family to update their Amazon wishlists (and be sure they share them with you). With Amazon Prime Days coming up in a couple of weeks, you might find gifts for a great price.

I’m sharing my Christmas planner that really helped me get organized last year. I was a little late finishing it then, so I am looking forward to reprinting some of the pages and putting it fully to use this year! $7 to calm the chaos!😂
