How to Make a Quick and Easy Loaded Potato Casserole
How to Make a Quick and Easy Loaded Potato Casserole
Do you ever need a quick casserole for a family event or church gathering? I found a quick and easy Loaded Potato Casserole that is very tasty! You will love it!
I have actually had this recipe for years and forgot about it. Since I dug it back out, we have had it several times. We made it for church as well as for ourselves. If you don’t want to mess with “fixing” baked potatoes, this is a great option – it is great with steak!
Loaded Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 Cans (10 3/4 oz.) of Cream of Celery Soup
- 2 Cartons (8 oz.) Spreadable Chive and Onion Cream Cheese
- 2 Lbs. of Frozen Cubed Hash Browns or Potatoes
- 1 Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions:
In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the soup and cream cheese. Cook on high for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the potatoes, salt, and pepper, and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Add the cheddar cheese to the top of the potatoes and put back in the oven for about 5 minutes for the cheese to melt.
The flavors in the cream cheese and soup make this dish very flavorful. The recipe is so easy to have that much flavor!
Other Things You Can Add:
- Bacon, Cooked and Chopped into Pieces
- Diced Jalapenos
- Chives, Cut into Small Pieces (Herb Scissors)
- Cream of Mushroom Soup instead of Cream of Celery Soup
- Butter (Because butter makes everything better!)
I hope you will try this recipe. If you do, please share your thoughts.
