Life Applications and Lessons in the Book of Joshua (Vol. 70)
There are so many life applications and lessons in the Book of Joshua that we can apply to our lives. I had forgotten what a treasure this Old Testament book was!
Let’s take a look at some of these lessons and see how they apply to our lives.

Joshua 1:5
After all of thousands of years, His message is still the same to us!
Success Principles in Joshua 1
Joshua 1:7
- Following the Lord’s whole instruction carefully is the key to success in whatever you do in life.
- Many times it takes great strength and courage to follow the Lord, because you have to go against the world.
Joshua 1:8
- We need to be in the Word daily to be able to know what His instructions are.
- We have to know it before we can obey it.
- When we know it and follow through with obedience, success and prosperity will follow.
Joshua 1:9
Knowing the Lord is always with us gives us a strong confidence in whatever we do.
Joshua 1:11
- We have to be prepared and do our part.
- We have to trust the Lord when He tells us something will happen. Be prepared and get ready!
Joshua 3:3-4
- Always let the Lord lead you, but especially when you are going through new territories and situations.
- Uncharted waters calls for more of a dependence on the Lord. We need Him to show us the way.
Joshua 3:9,11,13,17
When on any mission in life:
- Listen to the Lord.
- Let Him lead, and you follow.
- Have faith and take the steps He tells you to take.
- Stand firm and immovable until the job is finished.
